So, since I last chronicled the adventures of NotDon, the NotLandlord of our building, he has actually struck again. Several times, in fact. Unfortunately, none of his attempts were truly worthy of posting here. NotDon had grown lazy. Or lame. Or, just uninteresting.
However, yesterday, news came of the most brilliant execution of the Don vs. NotDon saga yet. And this time it seems, Don the ActualLandlord of our building, will have the last laugh.
You see, it seems Don sold the building. And the new landlord, (who we'll call New Landlord simply because he probably won't show up in these pages again) has decided to turn our building into condos.
And we're not invited.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Dr. No and I are getting kicked out of the Phat Cave.
The best part is that Don has not even told us yet. We found out from our manager who found out from the new owner who was apparently shocked that none of his new tenants had been informed that they wouldn't be his tenants for much longer.
I'm curious to see how this all plays out. (If by "curious to see how this all plays out" you take to mean "holy ass fucking shit this is the last thing I need right now what the fuck am I going to DO?!")
Well played, Don. NotDon won't know what hit him.
